Time to rejuvenate!

This futuristic room gives a sense of purity and spirituality to the design, which enables the viewer to come into terms with oneself while feeling a sense of relief and calmness. The sleekness of the design adds class to the space while also providing function. This is a place where if you had a long day at work, you can come home, take a nice bath, and just relax and let all your worries pass you by. This is an inspirational design in which reminds me to design with the thought that everyone has those rough days at work or at school, or anywhere, where they need to let go and let GOD…And even if you’re not spiritual, it’ll give you the opportunity to rejuvenate and become a new person.

This beach house in Hawaii amazes me! It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. I love the circular domain of the house, and the overall architecture of the house is very sculptural as if it were a painting. Everything is uniquely designed which creates the feel of a vacation home. I have always dreamt of living in a house like this; it’s what makes me want to design beach houses and in other states as well as countries. This house inspires me because of its sculptural elements in which it creates not only a living space but also a piece of art.

CHildren Got tO LOve tHEM!!!

Children can be one of the most influential beings in art and design. They produce a style amongst themselves that is particularly intriguing to me. It’s a style that is abstract, fluid, and imaginative. Just a simple scribbling on paper or splattered paint on a canvas can be a beautiful piece of art. Abstract art can translate to just about anything you imagine it to be, which makes the pieces way more interesting and fun than if the subject was literately depicted on the piece. This style has become extremely popular in modern art and design. Artist like Picasso and Kandinsky has adopted this idea and made it their own. Much of modern day design is abstract art and abstracted furniture pieces, which allows the space to act as a painting or a three-dimensional canvas.

Children Got To LOve Them

Little kids are so inspiring!Everything they do is so innocent and spontaneous, I absolutely love them! Their drawings are so abstract and messy it looks good. When I think about my own works I see myself imitating the abstractness and turning into a modern abstraction.

Find Your Purpose

Okay so last weekend my father forgot to tell me that my favorite cousin in the entire world was having a surprise engagement party in Delaware knowing that I would have wanted to go. My cousin, Ayana is somewhat of a miracle child and her mother was told that she could not have kids and when my Aunt was in her 40’s she was blessed with a child, Ayana. Ayana is extremely intelligent, has a great personality. She is now getting her masters with a 4.0 GPA at a law school in Washington,DC. I am saying all of this to show how someone who was not even supposed to be on this earth is really taking that into consideration and is doing all that she can to make sure that there is a reason for being here. She inspires me so much everytime I see her or hear about her accomplishments. It makes me strive harder for success and it reminds me to never take life for granted.
